Hope on the Radio for Kelowna

Across Canada, thousands of people listen to UCB Radio each day for uplifting music, encouraging conversations, and reminders that God is with them.

Soon, that same voice of hope could be heard across Kelowna and the Okanagan.

UCB Radio has been approved to launch 88.1 FM in Kelowna, bringing worship music, prayer, Scripture, and encouragement to the community 24 hours a day.

But you don’t have to wait.

Take Hope With You Everywhere

The easiest way to listen is through the UCB Radio App.

Whether you’re commuting, working, or relaxing at home, hope is always within reach.

Sponsor the Kelowna Pre-Launch Stream

The Kelowna stream is already live through the UCB Radio App, online, TuneIn, and smart speakers. Before 88.1 FM officially launches, local businesses, churches, and organizations can help build momentum by sponsoring the pre-launch stream.

Your sponsorship helps keep hope playing now while supporting the fundraising efforts needed to bring UCB Radio to Kelowna on FM.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Major Sponsor — $5,000+
Includes stream ads until launch, logo recognition, launch email recognition, special recognition at the launch event, UCB Network on-air mentions, and 4–6 complimentary launch event tickets.

Community Partner — $2,000
Includes stream ads for 6 months, logo recognition, launch email recognition, special recognition at the launch event, and 2–4 complimentary launch event tickets.

Friend Sponsor — $1,000
Includes stream ads for 6 months, logo recognition, and 2 complimentary launch event tickets.

When the Kelowna station launches, it will bring encouragement, worship music, and the message of Jesus to the Okanagan every single day of the year.

To make that possible, we’re inviting people to help fund the first year of radio.

Each day of broadcasting costs about $1,000.

So we’re looking for 365 people, churches, businesses, and families who would be willing to become a founding partner and sponsor one or more Days of Hope.

When you become a founder your day(s) can be dedicated:

  • In honour of someone
  • In memory of a loved one
  • To celebrate a milestone
  • Or simply to help bring hope to the community

Your dedication will be shared on air, with a message like:

“Today’s programming is made possible by the Smith family, helping bring Christian radio to Kelowna.”

Imagine knowing you helped make a day of encouragement possible — a day when someone driving to work, sitting in a hospital room, or struggling through a difficult moment hears exactly the hope they need.

Will you become a Founding Partner and sponsor a Day of Hope?

Launching the station will require $365,000 to cover the first year of broadcasting.

Generous supporters have already begun stepping forward -- and 52 Days of Hope have already been sponsored.
That means that 313 days are still waiting to be filled.

$1,000 — Dedicate a Day of Radio

Or give any amount to help bring UCB Radio to Kelowna.

What Listeners Across Canada Are Saying

Hi there, This is my first time listening to UCB radio today. I felt sorry for myself when this song came on that truly spoke to me. I was meant to hear that song, and it changed the course of my day.

It was such a delight to find the Christian radio here because I wasn't aware of it until probably about a year, year and a half ago. And it's the music that they play does lift the person up, here. It gives people a sense of hope. I really appreciate what you guys are doing there.

Thank you for sending me to L.I.T. camp. L.I.T. stands for Leaders in Training. I made quite a lot of new friends and enjoyed working with the younger kids. I also had a lot of fun learning about my religion some more and about the activities at the camp. I enjoyed having campfires and hanging around with kids who were a little older than me. My favourite part was learning about Christianity and teaching children the proper way. A lot of the kids said I was their favourite. I have a lot of stories about what happened and I helped kids make friends. Next year, I hope I can be a councillor at the camp. Thank you for sending me to this camp.
