For many kids, attending camp is more than just fun - it’s an opportunity to grow in faith, make lifelong friendships, and experience the love of Jesus in a special way.

However, financial barriers often stand in the way. This initiative aims to remove those barriers and provide children with an unforgettable summer.

How it Works

Nominations Open

March 23 - May 8, 2026

Nominate a child who would benefit from a camp experience. Whether it’s due to financial struggles, family hardships, or simply a deserving child who has never had the chance to attend camp, we want to hear their stories.

Selection Process

May 11 - May 16, 2026

UCB Radio, in partnership with participating camps, will carefully review nominations and choose one child from each market to receive a full camp sponsorship.

On-Air Reveals

June 1 - June 13, 2026

Each market will have a special on-air moment where we reveal the chosen child and celebrate their opportunity to attend camp! These inspiring stories will be shared with our listeners, showcasing the impact of generosity and faith in action.

How to Get Involved

  • Nominate a Child – Encourage listeners to submit nominations.
  • Sign Your Camp Up – We are working with Christian camps across Canada to provide these life-changing experiences.
  • Pray & Support – Listeners can join us in prayer for the kids and consider giving to support future camp initiatives.

Thank you for sending me to L.I.T. camp. L.I.T. stands for Leaders in Training. I made quite a lot of new friends and enjoyed working with the younger kids. I also had a lot of fun learning about my religion some more and about the activities at the camp. I enjoyed having campfires and hanging around with kids who were a little older than me. My favourite part was learning about Christianity and teaching children the proper way. A lot of the kids said I was their favourite. I have a lot of stories about what happened and I helped kids make friends. Next year, I hope I can be a councillor at the camp. Thank you for sending me to this camp.
