How to React When You Dislike a Gift

I love my mom, but, bless her soul, she isn't the best gift-giver.

Over the years, I have been given a crystal dish in the shape of a fish, a hooded blanket that made me look like an Ewok, and a plethora of other knick-knacks and clothes that have helped me "perfect" the Thank-you-I-love-it look.

You probably know what I mean. You may have not been given an Ewok cape like me, but you may have been given that, Do-you-like-it? look when you were given a gift that wasn't quite your cup of tea.
