Brant and Luke discussed the family dynamics behind the film’s creation. They shared that the process involved very few creative disagreements because their family had told the story many times over the years. Luke and his brother Joel also leaned on strong support from their parents—especially their mother. Despite many hardships, she stood as a pillar of strength and carried her family forward with resilience.

During the conversation, they also explained how making the film helped their father process the family’s journey. He watched the film many times during the movie’s promotion. Each viewing allowed him to revisit their struggles and victories, reinforcing the powerful role that family and faith played in helping them overcome challenges.
