PentThe Pentecostals of Quinte will be taking part in a community-wide Serve Day, with volunteers serving throughout Belleville and Trenton.
Throughout the day, members of the church will be out in the community wearing red “Serve Team” T-shirts as they take part in practical acts of service, encouragement, and kindness.
Volunteers will be visiting local organizations, including nursing homes, Trenton Care and Share Food Bank, and Belleville Hospital. They will also be delivering treats to local first responders as a small way to thank them for the important work they do in our community.
Volunteers will also be at local parks giving away freezies, and throughout Belleville and Trenton offering bottled water and encouragement to members of the community.
Serve Day is an opportunity for us to show the love of God in practical ways and give back to the communities we are grateful to be part of. We hope that through these simple acts of kindness, people feel seen, encouraged, and cared for.
