The second Beatitude
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 NKJV

Jesus was not necessarily speaking about mourning the loss of a loved one, but that those who mourn over their sins will receive God’s comfort. When you weep over your sins and the trouble they brought to yourself…

Hope is Just a Song Away

It’s been a long time coming and now this thing is ready to go!!! Let’s get these stories in!

Without radio it doesn't get there. So this an important thing for us to get behind. Hey this is Chris from Rend Collective. I just want to talk to you about the importance of Christian Radio. You know, we hear stories all the time about how the Holy Spirit is meeting people in their cars, in their houses while they're dancing in the kitchen and it's all thanks to radio. Without radio it doesn't get there. Our songs just won't get out there. We believe that our songs are filled with the word of God, most of the choruses are just taken directly out of scripture. So this an important thing for us to get behind, while they're doing this fundraising drive I just absolutely encourage you to lean into what UCB is doing.

We lost my sister about 12 years ago now and there was a song that just came on the radio and it was just hit me. Praise the Lord, Oh my soul. And then the ending there where it says that, you know, “when my time has come, still my soul will be praising.” And my sister was a newly convert. And I know where she is because, you know, of her aversion to Christ and how she, you know, asked for forgiveness and--and God came into her heart, and it was very evident. And I know that, you know, she is with the Lord right now and someday I'll see her again. And that song was just so, so encouraging to my soul. So that was wonderful.
