There's so few Christian stations out there. I actually work in Toronto, but I'm building a home in my home community, Walpole Island First Nation, and there are no Christian stations in Toronto. so it's like, you know what? We gotta keep these ones on the air because they are so healing. The music is so healing and uplifting and just whatever mood you’re in that day you're going to hear a song that's going to speak to your heart.

We lost my sister about 12 years ago now and there was a song that just came on the radio and it was just hit me. Praise the Lord, Oh my soul. And then the ending there where it says that, you know, “when my time has come, still my soul will be praising.” And my sister was a newly convert. And I know where she is because, you know, of her aversion to Christ and how she, you know, asked for forgiveness and--and God came into her heart, and it was very evident. And I know that, you know, she is with the Lord right now and someday I'll see her again. And that song was just so, so encouraging to my soul. So that was wonderful.

It was such a delight to find the Christian radio here because I wasn't aware of it until probably about a year, year and a half ago. And it's the music that they play does lift the person up, here. It gives people a sense of hope. I really appreciate what you guys are doing there.
