It seems that everywhere you turn today, somebody is making an excuse for his or her poor choices, performance, or behaviour or failing to admit a weakness or shortcoming. Yet we all make mistakes. One of the best…

Hope is Just a Song Away

Without radio it doesn't get there. So this an important thing for us to get behind. Hey this is Chris from Rend Collective. I just want to talk to you about the importance of Christian Radio. You know, we hear stories all the time about how the Holy Spirit is meeting people in their cars, in their houses while they're dancing in the kitchen and it's all thanks to radio. Without radio it doesn't get there. Our songs just won't get out there. We believe that our songs are filled with the word of God, most of the choruses are just taken directly out of scripture. So this an important thing for us to get behind, while they're doing this fundraising drive I just absolutely encourage you to lean into what UCB is doing.
Chris
For many years, my brother, he was ill and undiagnosed. He'd be fine. Then not fine. In times of stress, he hears voices or thoughts. They're usually really awful. In recent years, he discovered that if he only listens to UCB Christian radio and not other types of music that he used to when he was younger, that when he wakes up, he doesn't hear the voices he hears the lyrics from the songs on UCB Radio. And hears all the time words about God and praise and mercy. And UCB seems to just wipe out what the other voices are trying to say.

The music has encouraged me and my family to listen to and explore Christian music over the other secular channels.
