Hope is Just a Song Away

Been in Fort McMurray now for 20, almost 25 years. So of course coming up here, I did get away from God, but in probably the last 3-4 years ended up going through some stuff. I lost my job and just think after going through that stuff and and getting back with God and getting back to church and just getting my family introduced to God again definitely changed my life and I have that radio station on pretty much 24/7 on in the house. My kids listen to it now. My teenagers and I've been listening to the radio station. Every song is just kind of gets me in that mood. When I go to work now I have it on, at work and people get in the truck and you know, they're kind of chuckle sometimes, but you know, it's just something that I think that resonates with my heart and my soul. With the times that we're in right now and the things that we're going through that I just believe this radio station is very important because we need Jesus right now, that's for sure. Everything that's happened in our lives in the last couple of years has been amazing and it's just been, it's great to see this radio station and the stuff that it's doing for people.

Father we thank you for your goodness and your grace in our lives. We thank you for your love and as school approaches I think of my grandkids going to school. I bring each one before your throne of grace. I pray that you would be honoured in their hearts and in their minds as they do school work, as they do extra curricular activities. I’m the school bus driver and the buttons on my radio they never worked the volume or changing the station. I was listening forever to a country station because that's what was on and then my radio just completely stopped working all together for like a week and I thought ohh that's it and then the next Monday morning I turned it on. And it was on UCB radio that I'd never heard of and just every song just filled my heart.
